Shure
Why we recommend it:
The SRH440A is geared toward recording and monitoring, with a closed-back over-ear design and a collapsible build that is easier to store between sessions. For the right listener, the practical advantage is a design focused on monitoring, isolation or everyday listening rather than adding features that do not improve the intended use.
Consider: It is wired, so it is less convenient for users who prioritize wireless everyday listening.
